The UPI FPTK Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program has been established since 1963 at the Engineering Teaching Faculty (FKIT) with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 1963. Currently the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program is developing three packages/concentrations, namely Production and Design Engineering Education, Education Automotive Engineering and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering Education. The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program is a higher education that is expected to hold a leading position, and become a pioneer of renewal and reference in the discipline of mechanical engineering education which produces Mechanical Engineering Education teachers, especially in the fields of Production and Design Engineering Education, Automotive Engineering Education and Refrigeration Engineering Education and Air management that can contribute to the development of the nation and state. The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program always adheres to the values of faith and devotion; essential and universal truth, science, freedom of speech and academic freedom, justice, democracy, human rights, obeying the law, respecting pluralism and partnership, educative, scientific and religious.
